摘要: Recent literature has highlighted the importance of testing sustainability performances supply chains. Nevertheless, this field research is still in its early stages, particular with reference to short food chains (SFSCs). This analyzed producers’ and consumers’ perception economic, social environmental two SFSCs a specific quality cheese (Parmigiano Reggiano PDO) placed different contexts: first rural area Appennino Tosco-Emiliano National Park mountains second peri-urban Parma surroundings, both Italy. The case study also carbon emissions shopping for Parmigiano at dairy shops. Qualitative quantitative methodologies were employed achieve aims present study. For producers areas, SFSC successful strategy sell part their output own outlets, gain reputation, reduce costs same time increase levels self-esteem. Product biggest factor attracting consumers outlet; moreover, it associated trust idea combining “leisure pleasure”. However, impact purchase activities drawback.
