A comprehensive investigation on electrical characterization and ionic transport properties of cellulose derivative from kenaf fibre-based biopolymer electrolytes

摘要: The invention of a new biopolymer electrolyte based on carboxymethyl cellulose from Hibiscus cannabinus or kenaf fibre has been accomplished by doping ammonium acetate to the polymer–salt system solution cast technique. optical micrograph all films indicated that addition ionic salt enhances amorphosity films. conductivity values were determined via impedance spectroscopy. maximum in order 5.77 × 10−4 S cm−1 obtained for 20 wt% acetate-doped electrolyte. This proved insertion into materials successfully improved conductivity. prepared conductors since cationic transference number film was ~ 0.99. Transport studies confirmed influenced mobility and diffusion coefficient.
