摘要: Abstract Lucerne (alfalfa) plants, Medicago sativa L., regenerated from mesophyll protoplasts were of two morphological types; normal, resembling the parental type, and variants. Cytogenetic studies, coupled with measurements pollen grain guard cell dimensions established that variant protoclones higher ploidy than normal. Inoculation tests showed clones highly tolerant to wilt fungus Verticillium albo-atrum . The enhanced tolerance is associated an increase in thus might result a gene dosage effect.
