摘要: We present here the clinical, morphological and immunohistochemical features of a pigmented squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) in oral mucosa hard palate 76-year-old Japanese man. He underwent partial resection maxilla subsequent to radiotherapy. The tumor was typical, moderately well-differentiated SCC but had many melanocytes (melanocytosis) within it. Immunohistochemical analysis for stem factor (SCF) endothelin-1, both which are known stimulate proliferation differentiation melanocytes, revealed prominent expression factors neoplastic cells SCC, while non-pigmented showed little sign either factor. These findings strongly suggest that SCF endothelin-1 secreted by neoplasmic involved emergence rare variant SCC.
