摘要: Empowerment evaluation was adopted by Stanford University's School of Medicine to engage in curricular reform. It also used prepare for an accreditation site visit. is a guided form self-evaluation. selected because the principles and practices empowerment resonated with collaborative participatory nature reform School. This article highlights one most important features evaluation: critical friend. individual has expertise but serves as coach, advisor, or guide, rather than "the expert". The hands people program, friend helps keep it on track rigorous. As indication importance this role, student ratings clerkship rotations, where requested respond concerns, resulted significant increases ratings.
