摘要: The objective of this project was to introgress small overlapping chromosome segments which cover the genome L. pennellii into Lycopersicon esculentum lines. interspecific hybrid backcrossed esculentum, and a map 981 cM, based on 146 molecular markers covering entire genome, produced. A similar backcross 1 population selfed for six generations, under strong selection cultivated tomato phenotypes, produce 120 introgression lines were assayed above-mentioned markers, 21 936 cM pennellii, with an average 86 selected provide resource mapping new DNA clones. rest have shorter introgressions consisting specific regions size 38 cM. proportion in lower than expected (252 cM) because against wild-parent phenotype. mean rate ends linkage groups 3 times higher other genome. can assist RFLP-based gene cloning by allowing rapid that segments. also base breeding quantitative traits such as salt drought tolerance characterize wild species pennellii.
