摘要: The cAMP response element-binding protein (CREB) is a nuclear transcription factor downstream of cell surface receptors and mitogens that critical for normal neoplastic hematopoiesis. Previous work from our laboratory demonstrated majority patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) lymphoid (ALL) overexpress CREB in the bone marrow. To understand role leukemogenesis, we examined biological effect overexpression on primary cells, lines, overexpressing transgenic mice. Our results leads to an increase cellular proliferation survival. Furthermore, mice develop myeloproliferative disorder aberrant myelopoiesis both marrow spleen. Additional research other groups has shown expression early inducible repressor (ICER), repressor, also deregulated leukemias. And, miR-34b, microRNA negative regulates expression, expressed at lower levels lines compared healthy Taken together, these data suggest plays transformation. CREB-specific signaling pathways could possibly serve as potential targets therapeutic intervention.
