New developments in topical sequential therapy for psoriasis.

摘要: Abstract Topical agents for the treatment of psoriasis are indicated patients whose affected area is less then 10% their skin. However, long-term use, effectiveness can be limited. sequential therapy involves application a class I corticosteroid and calcipotriene in three different phases: clearance phase, transition phase maintenance phase. It an accepted widely practiced technique that provides balance between maximizing efficacy minimizing side-effects thus offering rapid psoriatic lesions remission.
