摘要: Sequential therapy is a treatment strategy involving the use of specific therapeutic agents in deliberate sequence to optimize outcome. The rationale for this psoriasis that it chronic disease requiring long-term maintenance as well quick relief symptoms and some therapies available are better suited rapid clearance while others more appropriate maintenance. involves 3 main steps: (1) clearing, or "quick-fix" phase; (2) transitional (3) phase. In example sequential systemic described article, an acute exacerbation brought under control promptly with cyclosporine at maximum dermatologic dose (5 mg/kg daily). After 1 month, phase initiated gradual introduction acitretin agent. Once tolerated has been established, gradually tapered continued phototherapy (UVB PUVA) added improved if needed. author proposes viable option patients who require desire alternative methotrexate.
