Alanine aminotransferase and HCV-RNA responses following interferon therapy of HCV-RNA positive chronic hepatitis

摘要: Interferon (IFN) has been shown to be effective for chronic hepatitis C. This study investigated changes of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and HCV-RNA in C patients treated withα-IFN. IFN was given 73 with positive The pattern ALT activity after aministration classified into five types. Type 1 characterized by normalization (≤25 K.U) during administration sustained the therapy. 2 involved a rebound termination therapy subsequent normalization. 3 had no administration, completion 4 transient level therapy, reversion abnormal levels 5 showed abnormally high both treatment. Twenty four (32.9%) negative rate at 6 months 87.5% (21/24).
