摘要: The virulence of laboratory strains the brown planthopper (BPH), Nilaparvata lugens (Stal), and whitebacked (WBPH), Sogatella furcifera (Horvath), collected in Japan between 1966 2005, was evaluated using rice differential varieties carrying different resistance genes. BPH strain avirulent to all tested. In contrast, 1989, 1999 2005 were virulent Mudgo, which carries Bph1. ASD7 (bph2). Thus, status same as previous reports. 1999, WBPH N22 (Wbph1), ASD7, Babawee (bph4) Chin Saba (bph8); also ARC10239 (Wbph2). Although has not previously been studied, present results suggest that effectiveness Wbph1 gene broke down before while Wbph2 1989 1999. study showed long-term mass rearing affected status. these will be useful analyze genes against WBPH.
