摘要: Gene expression profiling by DNA microarray analysis is a technique with great promise in cancer biology. The multifocality and heterogeneity of many prostate cancers makes the collection adequate biological samples for such particularly challenging. Current methods, as laser capture microdissection, are not widely available can have significant limitations. In this article, novel method prostatic sampling, which does affect histopathological assessment surgical specimen provides RNA yield described. This simple, inexpensive, easily reproducible, has been validated having >95% sensitivity 99% specificity histological prediction tissue obtained. be adopted other investigators to perform on tumors.
