摘要: Abstract A new type of spectrometer for nuclear charged particle studies has been designed and built at the 13 MV tandem accelerator Institut de Physique Nucleaire Orsay (France). It makes use focusing properties an axial magnetic field 3.17 T (at maximum value) produced by a superconducting solenoidal coil. The basic such device are following: true azimuthal symmetry, large angular acceptance (up to 10°), reduced geometrical mechanical aberrations leading bandwidth 5% in rigidity. Associated with detection system small size, this is now used around zero degrees coincidence experiments collect identify mass, fusion evaporation residues. In latter case, operates like recoil mass separator (RMS).
