Multiple intra-hepatic and abdominal splenosis: an easy call if you know about it.

摘要: Hepatic splenosis represents the heterotopic implantation of splenic tissue caused by spillage cells from spleen usually after splenectomy or trauma. This condition is an incidental finding during surgery and its real incidence unknown. Splenic implants, which can be placed anywhere in abdominal cavity, are multiple may confused with different benign malignant conditions such as renal tumors, lymphomas, endometriosis. We hereby report unusual case splenosis, a particular intra-hepatic location, that could misinterpreted hepato-cellular carcinoma.
