摘要: A useful approach to the study of infection in immunocompromised host is first consider what factors make such a patient compromised host. Knowledge regarding major compromising then allows one focus on diagnostic, therapeutic and preventative measures specific for that patient’s risks. These dysfunctions host-defense mechanisms or predispose are discussed together with types infections which they most commonly associated.
