Experimental study of different carbon dust growth mechanisms

摘要: Laboratory experiments are proposed to understand the growth mechanisms of spheroid carbon dust grains observed in Tokamaks with inside wall elements graphite based materials. Different categories solid nanometer size range produced from sputtering rare gas plasmas. Dense primary particles either individually or form spherical agglomerates. The agglomeration process is likely be stopped by Coulomb repulsion. Other particulates higher and cauliflower texture formed atomic-molecule accretion. Examples these different cases presented specific characteristics provided ex situ diagnostics. A comparison samples collected Tore Supra other proposed.
