摘要: Radiofrequency size effect measurements are presented for thallium metal of resistivity ratio approximately 100000. Strong signals were observed electrons propagating along open orbits in the (1010) direction. These exhibit periodicity first Brillouin zone dimension and allow a very precise determination sample thickness. The resulting radiofrequency data, from which Fermi surface caliper dimensions deduced, given (0001) plane at (1/2) degrees intervals; these data confirm earlier results Gage Goodrich (1971) except low values magnetic field. Tentative orbit assignments made appear to be reasonable agreement with recent theoretical model Holtham Priestley (1971).
