摘要: Thyroid hormone values and serum thyrotropin (thyroidstimulating [TSH]) responses to the intravenous administration of 400 μg protirelin were determined in ten patients with Cushing's syndrome matched normal subjects. In syndrome, thyroxine (T 4 ) level was mildly depressed free T 3 normal. The mean ( ± SD) concentrations triiodothyronine both reduced compared subjects P levels are due a glucocorticoid suppressive effect on peripheral conversion . test is limited value assessing thyroid status because response TSH frequently blunted or absent excess.
