摘要: Summary Perceptions that parents have of their hearing-impaired children's misbehaviour, the techniques used in handling these behaviours, and perceptions success experience controlling such actions are examined this study. One hundred thirty-four with children responded to a self-report questionnaire eliciting following information: family background, misbehaviours, dealing perceived corrective used, beliefs concerning use disciplinary techniques. Findings indicate successful (those who themselves as ‘successful’ misbehaviour) differed from unsuccessful ‘unsuccessful’ two important ways. was way parental groups incidence misbehaviour children, is, reported significantly lower than did parents. The second difference involved types practised control most often chose technique involving ‘discussion explanation’, while employed ‘scolding’.
