摘要: In the present paper, an attempt has been made to study detail morphometric characteristics of Karawan watershed in Dhasan basin, which itself is part mega Yamuna basin Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh. For detailed study, we used ASTER data for preparing digital elevation model (DEM), and geographical information system (GIS) was evaluation linear, areal relief aspects parameters. Watershed boundary, flow accumulation, direction, length, stream ordering have prepared using ArcHydro Tool; contour, slopeaspect, hillshade Surface Tool ArcGIS10 software, (DEM). Different thematic maps i.e. drainage density, slope, relief, superimposed profile, longitudinal profiles by ArcGIS software. Authors computed more than 85 parameter all aspects. Based on parameters analysis; that erosional development area streams progressed well beyond maturity lithology had influence development. These studies are very useful planning rainwater harvesting management.
