摘要: The characterization of the soil habitat is fundamental importance to an understanding processes associated with sustainable management such as environmental flows, bioavailability, and ecology. We describe a method for quantifying explicitly modeling heterogeneity using stochastic approach. overall aim develop model capable simultaneously reproducing spatial statistical properties both physical biological components architecture. A Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) methodology developed that uses novel neighborhood scanning scheme two-dimensional structure soil, based on direct measurements made from thin sections. considerably more efficient faster implement than previous approaches, allows accurate larger structures has previously been possible. This increased efficiency also makes it feasible extend approach three dimensions study distribution greater number components. Examples created by models are presented their shown not differ significantly those original visualizations.
