摘要: Hepatitis E virus (HEV) is known as a causative agent of zoonosis and food poisoning. Pigs some species wild animals, including boar, are to be reservoir HEV. In this study, we investigated the situation regarding HEV infection in boars Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. Serum, liver feces samples from 68 animals were collected, presence or absence genomic RNA antibodies analyzed. The viral genome was detected 7 (10.3%) with all HEVs classified genotype 3, subtype 3b. 28 (41%) animals. This report demonstrates for first time high prevalence Prefecture.
