摘要: Most of the radioactivity was eliminated exclusively into urine when thiamine tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide-S35 (outer) fed to rats. The metabolites were isolated by chromatographic fractionation using silicic acid or a hyldietaminoethyl Sephadex anion exchanger. compared with synthetic standards and characterized chemically isotope dilution, infrared analysis, nuclear magnetic resonance mass spectrometry. About 90% urinary thus identified as υ-hydroxy-δ-methylsulfonyl valerie (50-70%), methyl sulfoxide (15-30%), υ-hydroxy-δ-methylsulfinyl (4-7%), sulfone (2-4%) inorganic sulfate (3-6%). hydroxy converted corresponding υ-lactones treatment acid, identity lactones also established spectroscopy, spectrometry dilution. Time course studies on metabolite pattern show that valeric is main terminal product. present add further evidence for importance methylsulfonyl pathway in biotransformation foreign alkyl mercaptans.
