摘要: Isogeometric analysis (IGA) has recently received much attention in the computational mechanics community. The basic idea is to use splines as basis functions for finite-element calculations. This enables integration of computer-aided design and numerical allows an exact representation complex, curved geometries. Another feature isogeometric functions, their higher-order continuity, even more important development shell continuum elements analyse structural stability damage thin-walled composite structures. shape can be used implement relatively straightforward but powerful elements. In addition, these contribute a better stresses Finally, interfaces delaminations modelled by reducing order knot-insertion. this chapter, we will give overview recent developments IGA formulations.
