摘要: INTRODUCTION: The purpose of this study was to examine predictors risk for and the transition between acute stress disorder (ASD) posttraumatic (PTSD) in a longitudinal sample youth with severe injuries admitted hospital. These data would assist treatment discharge planning. METHODS: Youth were assessed ASD during initial hospital stay followed-up over an 18-month period PTSD (n = 151). classified into four groups, including Resilient (ASD-, PTSD-), Only (ASD+, PTSD+), Chronic PTSD+). Demographic, psychiatric, social context, injury-related factors examined as diagnostic transition. RESULTS: results multivariate analysis variance pairwise comparisons found that peritraumatic dissociation, gender, socioeconomic status significant after controlling multiple testing. DISCUSSION: Results suggest both within-child contextual contribute response trauma children. Clinicians should consider early screening planning, particularly children most at risk. Language: en
