摘要: Left ventricular assist devices have been proven to be superior medical therapy for advanced heart failure patients awaiting transplantation and viable alternatives destination patients. Improvements in the design of rewarded by a decrease adverse events an increase survival. Despite significant progress, even latest generation left are burdened long-term profile that will increasingly challenge physicians as survive longer on implantable mechanical circulatory support. In this review, we analyze impact clinical outcomes major trials continuous flow devices. We discuss several more pertinent interesting events, examine their potential causes, explore future implications.
