摘要: Objective Dietary sodium intake and left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) on electrocardiogram (ECG) are both independent determinants of cardiovascular risk. Prior studies demonstrated that acute dietary modulation significantly altered LVH-specific ECG voltage in hypertensive individuals, thus modifying risk prediction; but whether this phenomenon exists normotensive individuals is not known. We evaluated the influence criteria for LVH individuals. Methods Retrospective evaluation ECGs healthy (n = 39) who were prospectively randomized to a study protocol 1 week high-sodium diet (>200 mmol per day) low-sodium ( Results As expected, blood pressure declined measures circulating renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system activity rose with diet. No significant changes specific or overall precordial limb lead amplitudes detected between diets. Conclusion Although immediate has been shown alter detection did Healthy may exhibit adaptive dampen fluctuations response modulation. More cardiac imaging provide additional insight into observation health.
