摘要: Old maps are an important historical source for exploring landscapes. They often used as cartographic bases studying structural changes and reconstruction of land use. This study is concerned with comparison positional accuracy a set 'old maps' compared to present-day maps. Determination deviations defines the degree precision old map its potential use in GIS applications. The total ten unique different scales from Caslav region Central Bohemia were examined regarding accuracy.
