摘要: This manuscript discusses the current surgical management of glioblastoma. paper highlights common pathophysiology attributes glioblastoma, options for diagnosis/treatment, thoughts extent resection (EOR) tumor, and post-operative (neo)adjuvant treatment. Glioblastoma is not a disease that can be cured with surgery alone, however safely performed maximal shown to significantly increase progression free overall survival while maximizing quality life. Upon invariable tumor recurrence, re-resection also impact in select group patients. As adjuvant therapy continues improve survival, role treatment glioblastoma looks further defined.
