摘要: Today the rare-earth elements play a critical role in numerous high-tech applications. This is why various areas of chemistry are currently thriving. In organolanthanide search for new ligand sets which able to satisfy coordination requirements large lanthanide cations continues be hot topic. Among most successful approaches this field use amidinate and guanidinate ligands general types [RC(NR′)2]− (R = H, alkyl, aryl; R′ cycloalkyl, aryl, SiMe3) [R2NC(NR′)2]− SiMe3; SiMe3), can both regarded as steric cyclopentadienyl equivalents. Mono-, di- trisubstituted complexes all readily available. Various rare earth amidinates guanidinates have turned out very efficient homogeneous catalysts e.g. polymerization olefins dienes, ring-opening cyclic esters or guanylation amines. Moreover, certain alkyl-substituted tris(amidinates) tris(guanidinates) were found highly volatile thus promising precursors ALD (= atomic layer deposition) MOCVD metal–organic chemical vapor processes materials science, production nitride thin layers. tutorial review covers continuing success story undergone an astonishing transition from mere laboratory curiosities well within past 10 years.
