摘要: BACKGROUND Recently, intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) of testicular spermatozoa retrieved surgically from patients with non-mosaic Klinefelter's syndrome resulted in several deliveries. The aim this study was to evaluate the outcome ICSI using fresh and cryopreserved-thawed these patients. METHODS AND RESULTS Following informed consent regarding genetic risks their potential offspring, mature were found five out 12 (42%) who underwent extraction, performed while excess tissue cryopreserved. mean age 28.7 +/- 3.6 (range 23-36 years). Their baseline FSH elevated (mean 38.3 11.4; range 22-58 mIU/ml). All had small testicles 2-4 ml volume. or during cycles each group, compared. No statistical significant difference two pronuclear fertilization rate (66 versus 58%), embryo cleavage (98 90%) implantation (33.3 21.4%) for cryopreserved accordingly. clinical after included singleton pregnancies (one delivered one ongoing) a triplet pregnancy resulting twin delivery (after reduction an 47,XXY embryo). After spermatozoa, obtained twins early spontaneous abortion. CONCLUSIONS Outcome is comparable that following use spermatozoa. implications future offspring should be explained
