Prioritizing of wind farm locations for hydrogen production: A case study

摘要: Abstract Many advantages of renewable energies, especially wind energy, such as abundance, permanence, and lack pollution has encouraged many industrialized developing countries to focus more on these clean economic sources energy. Identifying a good location that is suitable for the construction farm one important initial steps in harnessing energy which assessed this study. The purpose study prioritize rank 13 cities Fars province Iran, terms their suitability farm. Six criteria were used cities. Wind power density most criterion among calculated by obtaining 3-h speed data between 2004 2013. DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) method prioritizing ranking cities, then AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process), FTOPSIS (Technique Order Preference Similarity Ideal Solution) methods are assess validity results. It concluded Izadkhast city suggested utilizing wind-hydrogen conversion system will result substantial amount hydrogen production (averagely 21.9 ton/year) when 900 kW turbine installed location.
