摘要: Manipulative therapies and exercises are commonly used for the management of chronic ankle instability (CAI), but there is no evidence regarding efficacy high-velocity low-amplitude manipulation (HVLA) in addition to therapeutic exercise improve CAI adolescent baseball players (ABP). To compare effects HVLA plus alone on status, pain intensity, pressure threshold (PPT), range motion (ROM) joint, balance ability ABP with CAI, a single-blinded randomized controlled trial was conducted. A total 31 were randomly allocated intervention (n = 16) or control 15) groups. The group received resistance twice week 4 weeks, while alone. Ankle PPT, ROM, assessed before after intervention. American Orthopedic Foot Society scores showed significant time interactions (total, p 0.002; pain, < 0.001; alignment, 0.001). There intensity (resting 0.008; movement For dorsiflexion (p 0.006) eversion 0.026). unipedal stance path length velocity 0.006). Adding may be synergistically effective improving CAI.
