摘要: Abstract Objective The purpose of this study was to compare manipulative therapy (MT) plus rehabilitation alone for recurrent ankle sprain with functional instability (RASFI) determine short-term outcomes. Methods This an assessor-blind, parallel-group randomized comparative trial. Thirty-three eligible participants RASFI were randomly allocated receive or chiropractic MT rehabilitation. All undertook a daily program over the course 4-week treatment period. receiving had 6 treatments same primary outcome measures Foot and Ankle Disability Index visual analogue pain scale, secondary measure being joint motion palpation. Data collected at baseline during week 5. Missing scores replaced using multiple imputation method. Statistical analysis data composed repeated-measures variance. Results Between-group demonstrated difference in final consultation scale frequency restrictions ( P ≤ .006) but not = .26). Conclusions showed that patients who received significant reduction number disability when compared alone.
