摘要: This article sets out to evaluate the effect of solvent content in extractive section on separation efficiency and energy consumption distillation columns. Contrary classical approach, proposed approach enables a simultaneous evaluation major decision variables (reflux ratio, flow rate, number stages [NSE]). The procedure allows calculating minimum rate for specific consumption. results show that is obtained reflux ratio not rate. Moreover, it always case larger NSE lower Due its industrial importance, dehydration aqueous mixtures ethanol using ethylene glycol as has been chosen study.
