摘要: Abstract Phencyclidine (PCP), a dissociative anesthetic often abused as hallucinogen, can induce schizophrenia-like psychosis, including positive and negative symptoms cognitive dysfunction. PCP is noncompetitive antagonist of the N-methyl- d -aspartate receptor (NMDAR). NMDAR hypofunction has been proposed to be critical component pathophysiology schizophrenia, promoting deficits in gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA)ergic signaling. Perinatal administration rodents represents one actual animal models schizophrenia. Here, we explore acute long-term effects perinatal on expression neuregulin-1, putative risk gene described Furthermore, treatment density different subclasses GABAergic cortical interneurons, redox homeostasis, susceptibility interneurons harmful free radicals are discussed.
