摘要: Use of textile structures for reinforcement pelvic floor has to consider mechanical forces the implant, which are quite different tension free conditions abdominal wall. Thus, biomechanical analysis devices include impact strain on stretchability and effective porosity. Prolift® Prolift + M®, developed conditions, were tested by measuring porosity applying strain. For comparison, we used Dynamesh-PR4®, was designed repair withstand at rest showed moderate with little but complete loss 4.9 N/cm. M® revealed an increased rest, high stretchability, subsequent 2.5 Dynamesh PR4® preserved its even under strain, as consequence limited stretchability. Though in can be considered large pore class I meshes, application rapidly lead collapse pores. The stress prevented constructions structural stability. Assessment found helpful define requirements devices. Clinical studies have prove whether well stability improve patients' outcome. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
