Thorium(IV) complexes of some dicarboxylic acids in aqueous solution: a potentiometric and calorimetric study

摘要: Abstract The stability constants and the changes in enthalpy entropy for reaction of thorium(IV) ion with ethylene-1,2-dioxydiacetate (edoda) ethylene-1,2-diaminodiacetate (edda) have been determined aqueous sodium perchlorate (1.0 mol dm −3 ) by potentiometric calorimetric titrations at 25.0 °C. With ligand (edoda), formation 1:1 1:2 chelate complexes has observed, whereas (edda), unchelated protonated are present, due to low pH values which precipitation solid compounds occurs. results discussed compared those parent uranyl(VI) samarium(III) complexes.
