摘要: Eight compatibilizing agents were studied to investigate their effect on the quality of interface between a phosphate glass fiber and poly(lactic acid) (PLA) matrix. After application via dip-coating, fibers Soxhlet extracted remove any unreacted compatibilizer. To assess quality, single tensile tests treated interfacial shear strengths (IFSS) composites (SFC) assessed. Of tested, Glycerol-2-phosphate disodium pentahydrate (GP) low molecular weight PLA with sodium salt terminal group (PLA-Na) showed highest IFSS values, which significantly higher than those control. Oligomeric carboxylic acid end alendronate trihydrate also an improvement over control fibers. The hydrolytic degradation these was 7 days in water at 37 °C significant decrease observed all cases, samples dropping level TGA XPS analysis sized that GP PLA-Na had been applied successfully surface. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
