摘要: Until recently jasmonic acid (JA) and its fragrant methyl ester, jasmonate (MeJA), had been studied only modestly since their discovery in plants over 30 years ago. Early research focused primarily on potential role plant growth development. However, after was shown to increase the expression of genes involved defense, there a surge activity aimed at clarifying function these potentially important signaling molecules. Although considerable work remains, increasing evidence supports hypothesis that is stress responses plants.
