Secondary chemistry of cultured mycobionts: formation of a complete chemosyndrome by the lichen fungus of Lobaria spathulata

摘要: : The study aimed to optimize culture conditions and nutrient requirements for the production of secondary metabolites by cultured mycobiont Lobaria spathulata. This species proved be an excellent model system such studies, as complete chemosyndrome found in natural lichen thallus was repeatedly formed with differentiated, aerial mycelia. Nutrient media containing disaccharide, sucrose, were favour both rapid growth typical substances. Higher proportions compounds detected developing than mature thalli.
