摘要: Abstract Lichens, obligate symbiotic associations between a fungus and an alga and/or cyanobacterium, produce impressive diversity of secondary metabolites. These compounds are derived from three fungal metabolic pathways—acetyl polymalonyl, mevalonic acid, shikimic acid pathways. Lichen phenols unique produced mainly by the acetyl-polymalonyl pathway occasionally pathway. phenolic have several potential pharmaceutical applications based on antibiotic, anticancer, antioxidant, anti-viral properties. In addition, some lichen phenolics serve as “sun screen” effectively regulating quality quantity light available to algal partner (photobiont). The production in lichens is influenced various environmental factors such light, UV radiation, temperature, elevation, geographic seasonal variation, well culture-related conditions. Although pathway, photobiont plays significant role terms providing “raw materials” for assembling compounds. Research concerning positive negative effects parameters content has yielded contradictory results. environmentally mediated differences may be attributed fact different pathways regulated variable gene groups which could potentially yield responses under same
