摘要: Restoration of insulin secretion by transplantation isolated islets is a treatment for type Ι diabetes mellitus. One the major issues with clinical islet how to maintain viability during transportation from donor patient. We developed method that uses alginate encapsulation protect mechanical damage shipment. tested several variables their impact on and used significant variable build response surface methodology (RSM) model Box-Behnken design method.
