摘要: The role of electron-phonon interactions in energetic displacement cascades metals is evaluated by considering the diffusion electrons a localized heat spike. It found that electronic system this region always falls out equilibrium with lattice at long times and whether achieved short depends almost catastrophically on parameters describe interaction. Neglect coupling may lead to overestimates thermal spike temperatures many metals.
