摘要: Self excited induction generators (SEIG) require controllable capacitive VAr to magnetise the machines and compensate demagnetising effect of loads. Different types controllers provide custom power requisite quality are discussed for different prime movers such as oil engines, hydro turbine wind/wave turbines. Schemes involve self-regularity devices, electronic controllers, automatic regulation switching. The criteria design controller with each mover discussed. For autonomous generation independent grid suitable schemes either single unit or hybrid modes involving more than one energy source described.
