摘要: Abstract The protozoa Leishmania undergo morphological and biochemical transformation from the promastigote to amastigote form during their life cycle. To characterize this process, we constructed a cDNA library for stage of major used differential hybridization identify sequences expressed at different abundance in promastigotes or amastigotes L. major. P100/11E is single copy gene whose 1600-nucleotide mRNA enriched promastigotes. P101/10 repeated 3300-nucleotide transcript amastigotes. These developmentally regulated genes are not linked genome located on separate chromosome bands. increases severalfold process 37 degrees C vitro thermally induced within 3 h after transfer 27 C. Examination beta-tubulin expression showed that relative 3400-nucleotide RNA decreased vitro. Our results indicate two controlled level provide direct evidence thermal induction plays general role regulating Leishmania.
