摘要: This paper describes the isolation and characterisation of meta 1 gene from Leishmania major, that is expressed predominantly in infective metacyclic parasites. The termini major 2-kb transcript derived this have been mapped polypyrimidine sequences implicated RNA processing located flanking regions. conserved both Old New World species codes for a putative protein 112 amino acids.
