摘要: Abstract Speed of sound is an important fuel thermophysical property that directly characterizes the injection and NOx emissions in diesel engines especially for injectors activated with pressure. Nevertheless, experimental data speed biodiesel fuels are very scarce literature. Thereby, this work aims at measuring biodiesels evaluating some predictive models to estimate from composition fatty acid methyl esters biodiesel. For purpose measurement speeds three ten atmospheric pressure temperatures 288.15 343.15 K was done. The ability two versions Auerbach’s relation, ideal mixture mixing rule describe evaluated. results evinced that, exception original version other studied provide a good data. modified relation displays overall average relative deviation 1.64%, rules predict only 0.37% deviation. Moreover, dependency on also correlated linear equation, presenting 0.56%. These can thus be tool using information about composition.
