摘要: Abstract Bifurcations and transients in rings of unidirectionally coupled nonchaotic bistable Lorenz systems were studied. Quasiperiodic chaotic rotating waves generated small numbers systems. Two kinds exponential transient emerged large systems, the duration which increased exponentially with number One was metastable regular when a pair stable steady states an unstable periodic wave coexisted. The other multiple Rings circle maps also shown to cause these waves.
