摘要: Gastrointestinal schwannomas are uncommon stromal tumors of the intestinal tract and colon extremely rare. We report a rare case ascending schwannoma with associated synchronous adenocarcinoma sigmoid colon. A 68-year-old man presented 20-day history bleeding per rectum. Colonoscopy revealed mass 4.2 cm in diameter endoluminal protrusion second submucosal tumor Surgical intervention was suggested ileo-hemicolectomy done. Microscopically, 4 showed features degenerative change (ancient schwannoma). Lesional cells were positive for S100p negative actin, desmin, CD34, CD117, pankeratin. The an invasive moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma. Colon is tumor, incidental occurrence has not been well described literature.
